The G29/G923 is built like a tank. They last a long time, and are fairly decent. My only issue is the pedals, the brake pedal doesn't feel very good and doesn't operate like a normal brake pedal in a car does, so it's hard to find the right amount of travel to brake properly. I find myself adjusting my foot on the brake pedal very often because The Gran Turismo movie is being heavily marketed and portrayed as a “true story” — and it basically is! — but it’s not a story which can be entirely attributed to Jann himself. The movie makes the process look very clear cut: GT Academy was conceived, Jann wins, and he forges a new path in the racing world. It has more car customisation / tuning options than an arcade racer, but it's not as sim-like as the well known sim racegames. The graphics are great, it sounds great, and both a wheel and controller feel great to control the cars. As a race game it's one of the best games you can buy at the moment. Gran Turismo Sport, however, looks, sounds and plays just like Gran Turismo 6 on the Playstation 3. It follows the story of Jann Mardenborough, a gamer who always dreamed of becoming a professional racer. I love Gran Turismo but truth is, 7 still has a long ways to go. Basically every Sony console I bought has been to play Gran Turismo games but honestly, PS4's GTSport and PS5's GT7 aren't good enough to warrant the price honestly. 7 has a good foundation but still needs a lot of work and devs seem determined to do everything but fix it's issues.
